The DRV Reversible Dome is a technological solution developed to integrate different video surveillance and communications systems on top of the same pole, providing full horizontal coverage (360° total vision) and 45° vertical coverage, concentrating the equipment required for surveillance, visual coverage and connectivity within a single structure.
The possibility of concentrating different surveillance systems at a single elevated point makes it possible to develop solutions adapted to the specific requirements of each installation.
In addition to video surveillance systems, the DRV can incorporate communications node functions, expanding the potential uses of the infrastructure.

A unique configuration
The DRV Reversible Dome allows several fixed cameras and a Speed Dome camera to be integrated on top of the same pole, a configuration developed to provide complete vertical coverage.
The possibility of concentrating different surveillance systems at a single elevated point makes it possible to develop solutions adapted to the specific requirements of each installation.
In addition to video surveillance systems, the DRV can incorporate communications node functions, expanding the potential uses of the infrastructure.

Technology tested in a real urban environment
The DRV Reversible Dome has undergone real-world testing in the city of Burgos for the urban traffic control and surveillance of the City Council of Burgos (Spain).
The tests made it possible to verify the operation of the system in a real urban environment and produced satisfactory results, demonstrating the solution's ability to integrate image capture and management for traffic monitoring.
The experience also made it possible to identify aspects requiring further optimisation, mainly related to the automatic Preset positions of the Speed Dome cameras, which form part of the planned technical evolution of the system.
This experience provides a real basis for continuing to develop the DRV and expanding its potential applications.
